Five facets of the mindfulness questionnaire were used to measure the level of mindfulness, and the perceived stress questionnaire was used to assess the level of stress. Results and Conclusion: The study has found that there was no statistically significant difference (p>.05) in mindfulness and perceived stress between private sector employees and public sector employees. There was a negative correlation between mindfulness and perceived stress (r= -.504,p< .01). The study has concluded that mindfulness is an effective tool in mitigating workplace stress and in improving the psychological well-being of employees.
